Students have a Backpack and they can use it to save videos, PDF files, image etc. This means they can access them anytime they log in, even if they are not on their computer. They can also upload content from their own computer and use it in the Backpack. It is a very useful tool and this quick 5 minute video shows you how it is used.

Edmodo allows you to moderate posts. This means that nothing will appear on the screen until the teacher has moderated the posts. This can be really useful if you are working with young learners and you are concerned with them writing something inappropriate. In this video I show you post moderation from the point of view of the teacher and the student, so this makes it really clear. You can see the teacher setting up moderation, see the student writing a post and then seeing what the teacher has to do to moderate the post.

Edmodo allows you to set assignments and give feedback to students on those assignments. This quick video shows you both the student and the teacher view so that you can understand the whole process. In this video Russell will show you how to add video to folders and then share it with students as this means the video will play in a complete different way.  A great tip and really well knowing and one that few teachers realise.
